FBI: Brothers Sought After 2007 Slaying Arrested In Mexico

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Two brothers are back in Michigan after eight years on the run following a 2007 slaying in the Grand Rapids area.

FBI Special Agent in Charge in Detroit David Gelios says Tuesday that 27-year-old Juan Reyes and 31-year-old Eric Reyes were arrested Monday in Guadalajara, Mexico and returned to the state.

Gelios says they were living under aliases in Guadalajara.

MLive.com reports that the pair was wanted in connection with the fatal drive-by shooting of 22-year-old Douglas Pollok at a party.

WOOD-TV reports that Juan Reyes was arraigned Tuesday on murder and assault with intent to murder charges. Eric Reyes had yet to be arraigned.

They were being held in the Kent County Jail.
