Jimmy Howard To Wear Special Mask For Military Appreciation Night [PHOTOS]
The Detroit Red Wings will host their eighth annual Military Appreciation Night, presented by Applebee's, on Friday, Nov. 13, when the team takes on the San Jose Sharks at 7:30 p.m. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Military Appreciation Night T-shirt.
Red Wings Camouflage Jerseys
The Red Wings will wear custom camouflage jerseys during pregame warm-ups to be auctioned online through http://auctions.nhl.com/ prior to the game on Friday. Each jersey will also come with the camo socks worn by the respective Red Wings player. The funds raised in the jersey auction will benefit Help For Our Disabled Troops, a military charity committed to helping disabled veterans who have returned home with serious injuries since September 11, 2001.
