Research: Expect Almost 5 Million Jobs In Growing US Economy

DETROIT (WWJ) - The U.S. economy continues to grow at its highest rate in a decade, according to economists at the University of Michigan.

"We are forecasting that when everything is said and done real GDP growth will be 2.4 percent in 2015, which is the same pace as last year, and looking forward over the next two years, we are a little more upbeat, in 2016, we'll see real GDP growth of about 2.6 percent and in 2017 we will see growth of 2.9 percent," said Gabriel Ehrlich with the University of Michigan.

Ehrlich, an associate director within the UM Department of Economics, say researchers expect the national economy will add 4.7 million jobs over the next two years.
