Bicyclist Killed, Hit By Car In Waterford Township

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A bicyclist is dead after he was hit by a car in Waterford Township.

Police say it happened around 10 a.m. Friday on Elizabeth Lake Road near Summit Road.

There was no immediately word on this man's age or what factors might have played a role in the crash.

A portion of Elizabeth Rd.  was closed at Summit Dr. but has since reopened. An investigation into what led to the accident is ongoing.
