Maple Leafs' Goalie Garret Sparks Starts Crying When He Finds Out He Made History [VIDEO]

We have all heard the saying: "There's no crying in baseball" ...but is there in hockey?

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a storied history and like to refer to Toronto as "Hockeytown".

Monday night the Maple Leafs took on the Edmonton Oilers and more history was made.

Leafs' goalie Garret Sparks was the first Maple Leafs goalie to ever post a shutout in his NHL debut. The tears started flowing and all Sparks could say was "thank you". It's good to see a player show emotion.

Sparks made 24 saves on the 24 shots he faced.
