In the rumors are true, the Detroit Lions might be looking for a new head coach at the end of the 2015 season, much to the delight of fans.

According to one report, if Caldwell were to be fired at the end of the season the Lions could be calling on the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator Adam Gase.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora posted a story on Sunday about the report.

According to CBSSports.com:

Gase, who began his pro career with Detroit, remains close to several members of the Lions' front office. He would be interested in coaching in Detroit and is held in high esteem by former NFL general manager Ernie Acorsi, who is consulting for the team on potential GM and coach hires. While the Lions will not finalize a decision on the fate of coach Jim Caldwell until after the season, Gase will be a top target should Caldwell not return.

Would you like this move if the Lions were to pursue Gase?
