PONTIAC (WWJ) - Oakland County Sheriff's investigators ares searching for a suspect in the killing of a man who was severely beaten and left to die on a Pontiac sidewalk.

Officials say 58-year-old Billy Kim-Duane Officer — who went by the name Kim Officer — was found in front of an abandoned home on Auburn Street early Sunday morning.

Detectives say Officer was walking from a friend's house, in the 90 block of Shirley, to his girlfriend's home on Woodward Ave. near Jackson St. when he was hit multiple times in the head.

A motive for the killing was not immediately clear and authorities don't know if Officer was robbed.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Sheriff's Office Tip-Line at 888-TURN-1-IN. Tipsters may remain anonymous and a cash reward available for information leading to an arrest.
