Police Release Sketch Of Suspect Involved In Hit And Run Of 82-Year-Old Man

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ)  - Police are asking for help from the public to find the driver behind the wheel of a car that struck an 82-year-old man in a parking lot.

Authorities say on October 14, at approximately 12:05 pm, Norman Prady was struck by a car as he was walking in the parking lot of the New York Bagel located on 12 Mile road in Southfield.

The driver fled the scene after hitting Prady leaving him with a serious head injury.

Witnesses say the car is possibly a gold colored Toyota Camry with a Mackinac Bridge - Sunrise License Plate. Witnesses indicate the plate contained the letter "C".

The driver is described as a white man about 18 -25 years old, wearing a yamaka.

Anyone who recognized the suspect in the sketch or who has any information about this crime is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
