13 And 14-Year-Old Sisters Missing In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police and Detroit mother are looking for help to bring home a couple of runaway teens.

Sisters Dayna and My'rakle Riggins were last seen by their mom on Sunday, Dec. 27, at around 11 p.m., at their home in the 18800 block of Healy in Detroit.

Police said Dayna and My'rakle are believed to be in good physical and mental condition — but be are being called "habitual runaways."

Dayna Riggins is a 14-year-old black female, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 136 lbs. with brown eyes, black hair and a medium brown complexion.

My'rakle is a 13-year-old black female, around 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 140 lbs. with brown eyes, black hair and a medium brown complexion.

A description of the girls' clothing at the time of their disappearance is not available.

Anyone who has seen Dayna or My'rakle or who has any information about their whereabouts is urged to call Detroit police at 313-596-5940.
