Kaufman's Tip-In Lifts Youngstown State Over Oakland 100-98

ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) — Jorden Kaufman made a tip-in with one second left and finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds as Youngstown State beat Oakland 100-98 Monday night for the Penguins' second road win of the season.

Latin Davis hit his first 3-pointer of the game to give Youngstown State a 98-95 lead with 51.9 seconds left. Nick Daniels missed a 3 on Oakland's next possession but Martez Walker grabbed the offensive rebound and Kahlil Felder hit a contested 3 to tie it at 98 with 32 seconds left.

Cameron Morse beat a triple team at the top of the key and his layup attempt rolled off but Kaufman was there for the follow. Oakland did not get off a final shot before the buzzer.

Morse led Youngstown State (6-9, 1-1 Horizon), which made 16 of 32 from 3-point range, with 23 points.

Felder had 23 points and 14 assists for Oakland (9-6, 1-1), which had a five-game winning streak in the series snapped.
