Joe Louis Arena To Debut Flex Ticket Package For Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship

DETROIT, January 15, 2016 – As the 2016 Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship comes to the legendary Joe Louis Arena for the first time in tournament history, fans will have the opportunity to purchase flex ticket packages, on sale beginning January 15 at 10:00 a.m.

The popular basketball tournament, to be held March 5-8, features 10 schools including Cleveland State, Detroit, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, UIC, Valparaiso, Wright State and Youngstown State.

Flex ticket packages include a coupon book with 10 general admission tickets. A $150 value, each coupon book costs $100, with each coupon good for any open upper bowl general admission seat on any day of the tournament. In addition, a coupon can be upgraded to a lower bowl reserved seat for $5 per session/day.

"We're excited to partner with Olympia Entertainment and Joe Louis Arena to offer this flex ticket package for college basketball fans who attend the Horizon League tournament in Detroit," said Horizon League Commissioner Jon Lecrone. "These flex ticket packages will allow ticketholders to customize and personalize their Horizon League Championship experience."
