Michigan State Introduces 8 Early Enrollees In 2016 Recruiting Class

NOAH TRISTER, AP Sports Writer

EAST LANSING (AP) — Michigan State has introduced eight early enrollees who will be part of the Spartans' 2016 recruiting class.

Linebacker Joe Bachie, wide receivers Cam Chambers and Donnie Corley, quarterback Messiah deWeaver, defensive end Mifi Hunt, offensive lineman Thiyo Lukusa, safety Kenny Lyke and long snapper Bradley Robinson are all joining the Michigan State program, and players were available to reporters Friday.

The Spartans expect to announce several more recruits on national signing day next month, of course.

Coach Mark Dantonio held a news conference Friday to talk about the early enrollees — and to look back on his team's 38-0 loss to Alabama in a national semifinal. Dantonio says it's good to achieve some closure after the season ended on a rough note.
