Detroit Police Searching For Missing 83-Year-Old Woman With Alzheimer's Disease

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking the for the public's help locating a missing 83-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease who went missing on Friday.

Ora Crayton was last seen by her step-daughter on Friday at around noon near the 5000 block of Joy Road.

Crayton is described as a black female with a medium complexion, around 5-foot-2. She was last seen wearing silver-framed clear lens glasses, a red or gray hat with a ball on the top and a red sweater.

Crayton said she was going to the store, possibly going to either Home Pride Market on Joy and Wyoming or the party store on Epworth and Joy.

Crayton is driving a black 2008 Dodge Caliber SX with Illinois plate number H961739.
