AMBER ALERT: Missing 2-Year-Old Girl Might Be With Teenage Cousin

SAGINAW (WWJ) - Authorities in Saginaw have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 2-year-old girl who might have been taken by her teenage cousin.

The alert was issued Tuesday morning for Mileah Hill. She's described as a black female, 2' tall and 30 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.

Police say Mileah might be with her 15-year-old cousin, Mikelah Williams. She's described as a biracial female, 4'6" tall and 86 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair dyed red and blonde.

Authorities say the girls were last seen around 3:43 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Walnut Street, near Ninth Street in Saginaw, although it's not known if they were on foot or in a vehicle.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately or contact police at 989-797-4580. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL.

Police say that Mikelah -- a verified runaway from Grand Rapids -- had been staying with Mileah's family in Saginaw for about three weeks. Relatives believe the teen took the toddler and fled the home Tuesday morning. At this time, police are not sure if Mikelah was assisted by someone with a vehicle.

"We are asking that if anyone knows anything please do not hesitate in calling 911," Saginaw Police Sgt. Reggie Williams said in a statement. "Baby Mileah's well-being is our top priority at this time."

Michigan State Police and the FBI are involved in the search and investigation.
