Detroit Teen Goes Missing After Leaving Home To Get Hair Done

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are asking the public for help in locating a 15-year-old girl who seemingly vanished after leaving her east side home to get her hair done.

Police say Winter Cosby was last seen around 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25 leaving her home in the 12000 block of Corbett, in a neighborhood along I-94 near Connor Street.

Winter allegedly told her mother she was going to get her hair done, but she hasn't been seen or heard from since leaving home.

Winter suffers from schizophrenia and depression, but is in good physical condition. Police say she is a habitual runaway.

Winter is described as a black female with a medium complexion, 5'6" tall and 180 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information on Winter's whereabouts is urged to contact police at 313-596-5940.
