Jim Leyland 'Dabs' On Michigan Stage [VIDEO]

By Christy Strawser

ANN ARBOR (CBS Detroit) You know that moment when your dad decides to start dancing -- in public -- or that time your mom tried to play "Super Mario" with you?

Yeah, it was like that.

Jim Leyland tried his hand at the dance craze of "dabbing" when he got his moment on stage during Michigan's massive signing day event. He was standing at the podium alongside Migos, a hip hop trio.

Dabbing is a dance craze that took over the Internet a few months ago, harshly pushing the "whip and nae nae" out of the spotlight. The Web can be a cruel place, friends.

Perhaps dabbing's most famous fan is Cam Newton, who dabbed around the end zone after a particularly notable play.

It basically looks like one is sneezing into their elbow. Then you switch arms in rhythm with the music, and eventually end by flexing your arms.

So, why did the Skipper subject himself to this spectacle? We're not sure.

But it is more evidence that Jim Harbaugh can get people to do just about anything.
