What could you do with more than $130,000 over a span of less than two weeks?

"Fly around a lot to talk to high school football players" was apparently Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh's answer to that. According to public records provided to USA Today, Harbaugh's private jet usage from Jan. 19 to Jan. 30 of 2015 (as he wrapped up his recruitment class during his first month on the job) amounted to almost $136,000.

Records of Harbaugh's most recent recruiting trips (and private plane usage) were unavailable, according to USA Today, which requested the 2015 records back in August.

USA Today also reports that Harbaugh's contract requires the school to provide him with a private plane "as reasonable and necessary for all recruiting purposes."

In Harbaugh's first offseason at Michigan, the Wolverines collected the 37th best recruiting class, according to 247Sports. This year, Harbaugh was able to swing the fifth-best class in the country.

The records obtained by USA Today also showed that Michigan spent $739,337 on football recruiting for the 2014-15 season.
