Man Wins $2 Million On Scratch-Off Bought At Royal Oak 7-Eleven
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) -- An Oakland County man is Michigan's newest millionaire after taking a chance on a scratch-off at a Royal Oak 7-Eleven.
The man, who chose to remain anonymous, spent $20 on an "Ultimate Millions" instant ticket, which netted him a cool $2 million.
The winner chose a one-time cash payout of just about $1.3 million instead of an annuity.
Michigan lottery officials estimate about $27 million have been given away on that particular scratch-off ticket alone and there are about $50 million in prize money remaining to be given away.
