ESPN Running A Design The Lions Uniforms Contest

Show me a Lions fan and I'll show you someone who thinks they know how to make the team successful.

You know exactly what I'm talking about. Everyone thinks this player, or that front office guy, will be the one who will propel the Detroit Lions to their second playoff win in the Super Bowl era.

This isn't exactly a chance to make the team win playoff games, but it is a unique opportunity.

The Detroit Lions are expected to have an alternate uniform in 2016 and ESPN is actually giving you a chance at redesigning the Detroit Lions uniforms -- sort of.

ESPN runs a Uni Watch column and your Detroit Lions uniform could be part of the contest.

Your entry must include a primary logo, full home and road uniforms (helmet, jerseys, pants, socks) and a solid-colored uniform for Thursday night games. If you like, you can also include a secondary logo and either a throwback or alternate uniform, but those aren't required. Please don't include multiple helmets, since those aren't permitted under the NFL's uniform guidelines.

I think this is an awesome contest and a chance to really be creative.

Imagine that being the next Lions helmet! Don't act like you don't want to design the Lions uniforms.
