16-Year-Old Boy Shot While Walking Down Mack Avenue In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities say a 16-year-old boy is in serious condition after being shot while walking down Mack Avenue on Detroit's east side.
The incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 9200 block of Mack Avenue, near McClellan Avenue.
The teen told police he was walking along the road when a silver car pulled up near him and someone inside started shooting.
The boy, who was shot in his left side, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police are now searching for the gunman.
