The day after Calvin Johnson, the best WR to ever walk through the doors at Ford Field, retired, The Detroit Lions have apparently signed a WR to replace him.

According to SportsCenter anchor Dianna Marie Russini, the Detroit Lions have signed former Cincinnati Bengals' WR Marvin Jones.

Jones, 25, who is in his fifth season out of Cal, has spent his entire career with the Bengals. Last season, Jones caught 65 passes for 816 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The 6 foot 2 inch tall, 198 pound WR is expected to be the second option for Matthew Stafford behind Golden Tate.

Jones missed the entire 2014 season due to a series of lower leg-related injuries. His best season came in 2013 when he caught 51 passes for 712 yards and 10 touchdowns.
