Beer Lovers Wanted For $12,000 Summer Dream Job

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - If you like beer and road trips, this could be the summer job for you.

Calling it "the beer opportunity of a lifetime" a Florida-based chain of craft beer taverns is looking to hire three "Drink it Interns" to travel the country and abroad — drinking beer, meeting brewers and sharing stories about it all.

According to the official job description, these chosen people will visit breweries, tasting all sorts of beers, attending beer festivals, and posting about the boozy adventure via a blog and social media.

"We'll send you down the street and around the world to capture the best beer stories and document them by blogging, capturing video, taking photos, Facebooking, Tweeting, sharing Vines, Periscoping, and anything else you think would be awesome to help tell the tale," the company, World of Beer, says.

It's a paying gig, too — to the tune of $12,000.

There's no college degree or specific experience required. They're looking for friendly, outgoing people who are passionate about beer and always looking to learn more, social media nuts who are always snapping photos of beer and food — especially "creative types like photographers, bloggers, videographers, or simply really awesome Tweeters."

The job is open to applicants in all 50 states. Candidates must be 21 years or older and be U.S. citizens or have a permanent U.S. work authorization.

To apply online, visit Worldofbeer.com/drinkitintern and share a creative one-minute video that shows your passion and interest for the position and for beer.

Please drink responsibly.
