Missing Central Michigan University Student Found Safe

MT. PLEASANT (WWJ) -- Police say that a student from Central Michigan University has been found safe after being reported missing this week.

Joshua Palmer, 23, of Livonia was reported missing by his roommate and was last seen on Wednesday about 6:30 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant.

Police said that he was found safe and his family has been notified.

CMU newspaper Central Michigan Life reports that police reached out to Palmer's family and friends intiially, who also had not heard from or seen him.

Police said foul play was not suspected, but they were concerned for Palmer's well-being due to some "uncharacteristic behavior" reported by his roommate, according to reports.
