Tri-County Seniors Invited For FREE Days At The Detroit Zoo This Spring

ROYAL OAK (CBS Detroit) - No need to load up the grandkids, seniors — this day at the zoo is for you!

Special FREE spring events will be held on two days coming up for senior citizens living in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.

The Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak has announced "Senior Days" will be held Wednesday, April 27, and Tuesday, May 24, 2016, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seniors 62 and older and a caregiver will receive complimentary admission and parking on those two days only.

Senior Day features live music, tram tours, bingo, a senior resource area and zookeeper talks highlighting some of the zoo's more mature animal residents.
