Detroit Police Searching For Missing 10-Year-Old Girl

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing girl.

Sergeant Michael Woody says 10-year-old Mariah Lowe was last seen by friends after school on Friday. The girl's mother, Cari Calhoun said her daughter left home on Elmhurst to visit a friend and didn't return home.

Lowe has purple hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt and tan pants under a grey coat with black and white shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detroit police.
