Major League Baseball does a great job celebrating holidays on the field. This year, the Detroit Tigers and the rest of the league will celebrate Mother's Day, Father's Day, the Fourth of July and Memorial Day with special uniforms.
Some of the players take it a step further, with custom gear from their suppliers. Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander will be on the mound on Sunday for Mother's Day and will be wearing these wild pink cleats he tweeted about on Saturday.
Even Tigers outfielder Justin Upton will be getting into the Mother's Day spirit with these adidas cleats.
Hopefully these wardrobe changes will bring the Tigers some good luck and help snap the team's five-game losing streak with a win over the Texas Rangers on Sunday.
