Stranger Danger Alert In Dearborn Heights
(WWJ) Dearborn Heights police are on the lookout for a man trying to lure kids into his car, and urging residents to stay vigilant.
The city's school district superintendent says a man in a silver Malibu approached two students Tuesday afternoon on Croissant Street near Bedford Elementary.
He said the man told the pair that their parents were in the hospital and they needed to come with him.
The kids knew better than to go with the man, so they alerted their parents, who called the school. The district called police, who are investigating.
