Student, 18, Found Dead Near Benton Harbor High School

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old high school student in Benton Harbor has been found dead near a road.

A school bus driver discovered the body about 7:15 a.m. Thursday near Benton Harbor High School in southwestern Michigan. Investigators are treating the death of Grady Manns as a homicide.

No other details were released. An autopsy is planned in Grand Rapids.

Benton Harbor school Superintendent Shelly Walker says students and staff are having a tough time with the "terrible tragedy."
