Suspect In Rochester Hills Home Invasion Captured In Arizona

DETROIT (WWJ) - A home invasion suspect on the run for beating and tying up an elderly Rochester Hills woman has been captured.

The Oakland County Fugitive Apprehension Team tracked down 27-year old Dequantell Jamerson in Arizona. Investigators had questioned Jamerson after the November robbery, but released him pending further investigation.

Detectives say they were able to link Jamerson to the home invasion through forensic evidence. After he was arrested out west, Jamerson confessed.

He faces up to 20-years in prison if convicted.
