DTE Energy Music Theatre To Start Using Metal Detectors

CLARKSTON (WWJ/AP) - DTE Energy Music Theatre in suburban Detroit will have walkthrough metal detectors throughout the summer.

The outdoor venue in Clarkston announced Thursday it will start using the detectors at entrances, according to the Oakland Press. Attendees will not be asked to take off belts or shoes.

Metal detectors will continue to be used for concerts and sporting events at The Palace of Auburn Hills, which is the home arena of the Detroit Pistons.
