Report: Masked Gunman Jumps Out Of Bushes, Kills Inkster Man In Front Of 7-Year-Old

INKSTER (WWJ) - Police in Inkster are searching for a gunman who reportedly ambushed a 31-year-old man, killing him in front of a child in broad daylight.

The incident happened Friday afternoon on Meadowdale Avenue in Inkster, in a neighborhood along Beech Daly Road and Annapolis Street, according to a report by WXYZ-TV.

Napoleon Yharbrough was riding bikes with his girlfriend's 7-year-old son when the gunman jumped out of the bushes and fired several shots, according to the report. Yharbrough was fatally wounded. The boy was uninjured.

Police are now searching for the suspect. According to the report, investigators know who they're looking for, it's just a matter of finding him.
