Do You Think Andre Drummond is a Franchise Player?
After seven years the Detroit Pistons managed to make it to the postseason grabbing the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. It was a quick four-game series as the Pistons faced the now Eastern Conference Champions — Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Pistons are a young, inexperienced team that witnessed first-hand that they still have work to do if they ever plan on contending for an NBA championship.
Most would think Andre Drummond — whom averaged a double-double through the season would be the future face of the franchise, right?
Well, according to Drew Sharp of the Detroit Free Press, he believes the smartest decision Detroit could make is focusing more on the development of Stanley Johnson than Drummond. Drummond took to his Twitter account today with a one word response you can see below.
