Body Found In Trunk Of Car In Detroit Alleyway

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Neighbors on the east side of Detroit got quite a shock on Monday as a man's body was found inside the trunk of a car in an alleyway.

Detroit police say the body was found at around 10:30 a.m. Monday near Hickory and Fairmount. The body was in the trunk of a white Buick Century.

A 911 caller made the horrific discovery, saying an arm was seen hanging from the trunk. The victim is an unidentified black male.

Investigators saw signs of trauma to the body, but waiting for the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
