Troy Police Seek Armed Suspect In Case Of McDonald's Drive-Thru Road Rage

TROY (WWJ) - Police are looking for a young man wanted in a road rage incident at a McDonald's drive-thru.

It happened at around 9:30 a.m. last Friday at the restaurant in the 300-block of Rochester Road in Troy.

The alleged victim reported she was trying to enter the drive-thru lanes to order breakfast, but both were blocked by a silver sedan.

The woman told police she honked her horn, which caused the other driver to pull into the left drive-thru lane, bumping the curb in the process.

That's when, the woman said, the driver rolled his car window down, opened his door and pointed a handgun at her. He then drove away without making a purchase.

No shots were fire and no one was hurt.

The suspect and a passenger in the car were described only as males around 20 years old.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Troy police at 248-524-3477.
