Facing Federer At Wimbledon, How Marcus 'Cartman' Willis Got His Nickname

Marcus Willis' path to face Roger Federer Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Wimbledon has been extraordinary and he's becoming a mascot for average Joes and sugar addicts across the world.

In the first round Willis shockingly defeated Ricardas Berankis who is ranked more than 700 places above him at the time.

The British tennis pro has been plagued with weight problems, reportedly lives with his parents and actually quit tennis in February.

An old video has been making the rounds as his name is making headlines. In a 2014 match Willis pulled out an RC Cola and a Snickers bar at a match and the announcer was astounded.

"He's eating a Snickers? Come on. This is all a joke," said the commentator referring to Willis as Cartman during the match -- the fat "South Park" cartoon character we all love to hate.

The world loves a comeback story and Marcus "Cartman" Willis seems to be the people's champion.
