Recall: P.F. Chang's Home Dinners May Contain Metal Shards

DETROIT (WWJ) -- ConAgra Foods has issued a recall for its line of P.F. Chang's Home Menu Brand products because the included sauce could contain metal fragments.

An initial recall was issued on July 7 after a ConAgra employee saw metal fragments while dispensing sugar from a supplier for a P.F. Chang's sauce ingredient.

Products covered by this recall were distributed in the U.S. and include 22 oz. packages of P.F. Chang's Home Menu Brand Signature Spicy Chicken, Mongolian Style Beef, Beef with Broccoli, Shrimp Lo Mein, Sweet & Sour Chicken, General Chang's Chicken, Garlic Chicken with Dan Dan noodles and Grilled Chicken Teriyaki with Lo Mein Noodles.

No P.F. Chang's restaurants or other ConAgra Foods products are impacted by this recall. There have been no reports of adverse reactions or injuries due to consumption of these products at this time.

Consumers who have purchased these items are advised not to consume them and return them to the store where originally purchased. Anyone with questions should call the ConAgra Consumer Affairs hotline at 1-800-252-0634, open 9 a.m. through 7 p.m. CDT, Monday through Friday.
