Caught On Camera: Man Breaks Into Garage On Detroit's West Side [VIDEO]
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted for stealing several items from a garage he broke into on the city's west side.
Police say the crime occurred on July 15 between 10:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. in the 3300 block of Sherbourne Road, near 7 Mile and Livernois Avenue.
Police say the suspect was caught on the home's surveillance video as he broke into the garage and stole several items from inside, including two bicycles and a hedge trimmer.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s, approximately 5'8" tall and 200 pounds.
