2 Allegedly Fleeing Police Hit Car Killing Innocent Driver Before Being Captured

WOODHAVEN (WWJ) - A 27-year-old is dead after his vehicle was hit by a driver allegedly fleeing Woodhaven police early Tuesday afternoon.

Michigan State Troopers telling WWJ Newsradio 950 that a man and woman, on the run from suspected retail fraud charges and a parole violation, smashed their car into three other vehicles on Dix Toledo Road near Allen Road in Brownstown Township, killing one of the drivers.

No one else was seriously injured. The pair, who were reportedly fleeing police, were taken into custody-- they will now likely be facing much more serious charges. No identification on the victim-- and police have not released the identify of the two who are now behind bars.
