LFL Football Player Proposes To Her Boyfriend On The Field [VIDEO]

It's 2016 and maybe I am horribly out of touch. I'm also unmarried, so maybe that adds to me being naive, but a woman proposing to a man is something new for me.
It happened during an LFL game, and it has me wondering if this will start a new trend.
The Omaha Hearts were trailing the Dallas Desire at halftime, 53-12. Usually when your team is down by that much, players aren't too upbeat and just want to go home and put the day behind them.
That wasn't the case for Heart safety Lauren Fogle who decided to get down on one knee and propose to her boyfriend. Yes, during halftime she got down and proposed to her man in front of a crowd.
The best part of the video is when she gave the ring to her fiance and told him to "put it on your damn self." Did he have to then go out and buy her a ring? I wonder how that works.
