Woman Found Dead Behind Home On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating a possible homicide after a 60-year-old woman was found dead behind a home on the city's east side.
The woman's body was discovered by a neighbor Thursday night on Edgefield Street, near I-94 and Moross Road.
According to reports, the woman had apparent trauma to the body and was possibly assaulted. It's unclear how long her body was behind the home.
Officials are awaiting autopsy results to determine a cause of death.
An investigation is ongoing.
