Detroit Pistons Announce 2016-17 Regular-Season Schedule
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons will open their season on the road against the Toronto Raptors on October 26.
This year's summer acquisitions, Jon Leuer, Ish Smith and Boban Marjanovic, along with 2016 first round pick Henry Ellenson, will make their home debut against the Orlando Magic on Friday, October 28 at The Palace.
Expect to see the young core of All-Star Andre Drummond, Reggie Jackson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Marcus Morris, Tobias Harris and Stanley Johnson early and often.

The Pistons three home pre-season games will be on-sale at 10 a.m. on August 19.
Highlights of the Pistons' home schedule include two appearances by LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers (December 26 and March 9) and two visits from Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and the new-look New York Knicks (November 1 and March 11). Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Michigan-native Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors visit December 23, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the L.A. Clippers come to The Palace on November 25 and LaMarcus Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs visit February 10.
Other intriguing home contests include two matchups against Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan and the Toronto Raptors (March 17 and April 5) and two meetings against Al Horford, Isaiah Thomas and the Boston Celtics (November 19 and February 26). Central Division rivals Paul George, Jeff Teague and the Indiana Pacers visit The Palace on December 17 and January 3 and the Chicago Bulls, featuring Dwyane Wade, Jimmy Butler and Rajon Rondo, visit on December 6 and March 6. Dwight Howard, Paul Millsap and the Atlanta Hawks make their lone visit to Detroit on January 18 and Hassan Whiteside, Goran Dragic and the Miami HEAT visit The Palace the day before Thanksgiving, November 23, and March 28.
The Pistons begin the first of three four-game road trips with games at L.A. Clippers (November 7), at Phoenix (November 9), at San Antonio (November 11) and at Denver (November 12) followed by the first of three four-game home stands with games vs. Boston (November 19), vs. Houston (November 21), vs. Miami (November 23) and vs. L.A. Clippers (November 25). The second four-game road trip follows with games at Oklahoma City (November 26), at Charlotte (November 29), at Boston (November 30) and at Atlanta (December 2). Detroit hosts their second four-game home stand with games vs. Memphis (December 21), vs. Golden State (December 23), vs. Cleveland (December 26) and vs. Milwaukee (December 28). The Pistons embark on a season-long five-game road trip in January with games at Portland (January 7), at Sacramento (January 10), at Golden State (January 12), at Utah (January 13) and at L.A. Lakers (January 15). Detroit caps their final four-game home stand with games vs. Dallas (February 15), vs. Charlotte (February 23), vs. Boston (February 26) and vs. Portland (February 28) followed by their final four-game road trip with games at Brooklyn (March 21), at Chicago (March 22), at Orlando (March 24) and at New York (March 27).
The Pistons' schedule features 17 sets of back-to-back games this season. Six of the team's back-to-back sets begin on the road and end at home, six begin at home and conclude on the road and five back-to-backs are on the road.
