Man Arrested In Royal Oak Bank Robbery Suspected Of Similar Crime In Warren

ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Police in Royal Oak have made an arrest in connection with a bank robbery earlier this week.

The suspect, a 25-year old Detroit man, is accused of targeting the TCF Bank at Crooks and 12 Mile roads on Monday. Investigators say he entered the bank around noon passed a note to a teller demanding money, and implied he was armed. After getting the cash, he fled on foot.

Police and the FBI violent crimes task force are looking into whether the same suspect also robbed a bank in Warren on Tuesday.
