Japanese Olympian's Manhood Ruins Pole Vault

Pole vaulting is known as a game of inches, and it was never more true than when Japanese pole vaulter Hiroki Ogita suffered the agony of defeat thanks to a few inches of miscalculation.

Ogita was looking to win the gold medal in Rio but his dreams came crashing down because of a short coming.

Ogita needed to clear 5.3 meters. He appeared to clear the pole, got his legs over just fine and then it happened. His spandex shorts must not have been tight enough and his little Hiroki sprung free to hit the bar and knocked it off.

At first, I thought it was perhaps an optical illusion. But, oh no.

According to The New York Post:

The foul effectively cost Ogita a place in the final.

Despite clearing the height on his second attempt, the Japanese athlete was only able to make a height of 5.45 meters (17.8 feet) with his last jump, which left him in 21st place, ending his campaign in Rio.

It seems like everyday there is just a crazy story coming out of Rio. Monday, there was the story about the Brazilian diving duo who split because one was having too much sex and now today an Olympian's dream is crushed because he was too big for his britches.
