Big Brother Veterans of season 12 and 13 make an appearance on last night's episode, including an introduction of their newborn child. But first, Paulie and Corey are up for eviction and neither of the two nominees wants to campaign against each other. Plus we get a glimpse at the jury house and see how Da'Vonne reacts to the evictions of Zakiyah and Bridgette. The Big Brother Airlines tickets expired and for one houseguest have the roundtrip ticket which was revealed. Another twist was also announced and we're reminded about next week's powerful America's Care Package that can be given to a houseguest. Here's my recap of last night's episode!

Paulie fights to stay

Feeling defeated, Paulie was not going to campaign against his buddy Corey and looked to be throwing in the towel. However Natalie was very observant in that his apologies to her and sympathy were a ploy in getting possible votes to stay in the game. It was really interesting to see Paulie ignore his punishment from the POV competition of baking an apple pie when Zingbot 9000 comes from the speakers singing. Corey gave Paulie a pep talk and Paulie eventually went and baked an apple pie. Unfortunately for Paulie Califiore, the 27 year old DJ from Howell, NJ, it wasn't enough to get any sympathy votes as he was unanimously evicted from the Big Brother house.

Brenchel Weighs In

Introducing Adora Villegas, the first Big Brother baby from veterans Rachel Reilly and Brendan Villegas of season 12 and 13. They even competed in on the Amazing Race twice in season 20 and the all-star edition. Last summer the two announced that they were expecting and this season we met their new addition to their family. Both Rachel and Brendan are big fans of James and Natalie's showmance. Brendan said he would be uncomfortable seeing his daughter in the Big Brother house. However both have overcome the odds of being a showmance to a relationship and now parents.

Checking In On The Jury House

After a week of being evicted from the game, Da'Vonne was finally going to get some company in the jury house. She did have time to reflect and confessed that she still didn't know how to keep her mouth shut when being evicted from the game. It was a bittersweet reunion as Da'Vonne saw Zakiyah entering the jury house. Zakiyah showed Da'Vonne clips of what happened the week of her eviction. Da'Vonne was shocked to see Paulie fall from the HOH competition after Zakiyah then win veto and not use it on her. Zakiyah then reveals it was a double eviction and there was another houseguest shortly arriving. Bridgette joined with open arms from both ladies and showed the clips from after Zakiyah's eviction. Again Da'Vonne was surprised to see Corey win HOH then POV. All three ladies agreed they'd like to see Paulie evicted next. They'll get that wish and I can't wait to see the next check in on the jury house to see their reactions. Plus Julie Chen announced that for the jury members their game might not be over as a new twist was revealed. After next week's eviction all five jury members will get the opportunity to battle it out to come back into the game.

My Ranking of the houseguest

  1. Victor - Winning HOH and getting the person, who originally evicted him out, shows his dominance in the game.
  2. James - The veteran houseguest is playing a great social game, but being in a showmance puts a target on him.
  3. Paul - Surprising that he found the Paris room first and was the actual holder of the roundtrip ticket.
  4. Natalie - Like her other half in her showmance, she has a target on her but doesn't seem to be a threat to the others.
  5. Michelle - Our Michigander just needed to lay low this week and got her target out without being in power.
  6. Nicole - The other Michigander had safety this week but next week could be in danger.
  7. Corey - Being up for eviction and losing an ally didn't help him as well as being in a showmance doesn't help either.

Prediction for HOH, America's Care Package and Nominations

I am sticking with my prediction in that Natalie will finally get her chance to win HOH this upcoming week. But with America's Care Package giving the recipient the power of being co-HOH the nominations may be different. I predict Paul to win America's Care package and may not have the same agenda as Natalie. For the nominations I predict that Natalie will nominate Corey while Paul will nominate Nicole, so their showmance may be in danger. Tune in on Sunday at 8pm on CBS Detroit to see who wins HOH, who will be the receive America's Care Package and which two houseguests will be put up for eviction.
