KFC's Fried-Chicken Scented Sunscreen Sells Out

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) It's a joke, right, like "why did the chicken cross the road?"

In this case, the answer was the chicken crossed the road to make you smell delicious.

It's not a joke that Kentucky Fried Chicken created a sunscreen that smells like fried chicken. The company produced a website advertising the product, saying it would be available until the end of September, as supplies lasted.

The tongue-in-cheek website promised to bounce off the skin's rays while making the wearer smell like the colonel's best, secret ingredients included.  It keeps you from getting crispy on the outside, apparently.

The site was already removed after all 3,000 bottles apparently sold out.
