Dad Reunited With Daughters After Mom Arrested In Florida

DETROIT (WWJ) - The father of two girls who went missing after their mother skipped town with them says his daughters have been found safe.

James Peck posted on his Facebook Sunday his daughters, 8-year-old Caitlin and 5-year-old Charlotte, were reunited with him after tips led to their location in Florida.

Peck thanked local law enforcement and the media for help with the search, adding that they were now going to celebrate Charlotte's birthday.

Agents from a bails bonds company drove to Florida and apprehended the mom - Courtney Peck.

The children were supposed to be back with their father on Aug. 21, but police say their mother never returned them, and took the children toward Georgia and eventually Florida.
