UPDATE 9/15: Missing 23-Year-Old Farmington Hills Woman Found Dead

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - The parents of a missing 23-year-old Farmington Hills woman are hoping that someone knows what happened to their daughter — who hasn't been seen for a week.

Elizabeth Hock's family last saw her on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Her sister, Emilie, told WWJ Newsradio 950 she last spoke with her sister that night, but hasn't been able to get a hold of her since.

"When she didn't respond on Wednesday to any of my calls or texts I was concerned, but it's not unlike her to not respond for a day or two," Emilie Hock said. "When she didn't show up for work on Friday, I was concerned. It's not like her to not show up to work."

Elizabeth Hock was driving a 1999 Gold Ford Crown Victoria, which police found Tuesday in the parking lot of the PetSmart in the Commerce Crossing Shopping Center at 14 Mile and Haggerty Road in Commerce Township. Her purse, money and ID were found inside.

He dad, Ed Hock, said that with no one having heard from Elizabeth for so long, they suspect something bad might have happened to her.

"We don't know for sure if she met someone or took off or if she walked away," he told WWJ's Laura Bonnell. "It just seems very unlikely that...I mean, that doesn't sound like her. We're concerned about foul play."

Ed Hock said his daughter has no medical issues and is a trustworthy young lady.

"We're just hoping that if someone sees her or knows where she's at, just let her know that we're very, very concerned and we love her dearly," he said. "She's our youngest daughter and our youngest child; and although she's an adult at 23, we're very concerned about her and we hope she'd just let us know that she's OK."

Ed Hock said Elizabeth had recently broken up with her boyfriend, but they don't believe he had anything to do with her disappearance.

Elizabeth is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs around 140 pounds, and has brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, pink shorts and black sandals.

She works at the Birmingham Athletic Club and has been taking business classes at Oakland Community College.

Anyone with information on this missing woman's whereabouts or who knows anything that might help investigators with this case is asked to contact the Farmington Hills Police Department at Command Desk at 248-871-2610.
