The Snack Attack: Little Debbie Makes Fall Tasty With Pumpkin Spice And Caramel Apple Flavored Treats [TASTE TEST]

The taste of fall is pretty much synonymous with two flavors: Pumpkin spice and caramel apple. And my favorite snack minx Little Debbie knows what's up, because she's created two new festive snacks for fall: Pumpkin Spice Rolls and Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cream Pies.

Pumpkin Spice Rolls
Pumpkin spice flavored cake rolled with rich vanilla creme and topped with a drizzle of icing. It's the taste of fall, all rolled up!

I have to start this off by saying I usually hate pumpkin spice flavored food. How is that possible? I don't know, but I don't even like pumpkin pie. I almost always pass on most "fall flavored" treats, but these looked so yummy I just couldn't resist -- it must be those icing stripes, they're mesmerizing.

Honestly, my mind was blown. I couldn't believe my mouth because I actually LOVE these, pumpkin and all. First off, the aroma of sweet spice was irresistible -- it didn't have that artificial pumpkin smell at all. Secondly, these things should probably be called spiced pumpkin rolls, because the spice flavor is way stronger than any taste of pumpkin. The cake is sweet, soft and moist, and is exploding with creme.

If I had one negative thing to say, it's that there's just a tad too much creme. It's so rich and sugary that just a little probably would have gone a long way. Definitely be ready for a sugar rush after eating one of these.

Caramel Apple Oatmeal Creme Pies
We've put a spin on an all-time favorite by taking our original soft, chewy oatmeal cookies and layering them with caramel flavored creme and sweet apple jam, creating this delicious fall snack!

An Oatmeal Cream Pie is one of the best Little Debbie treats ever. Eating one just makes me feel like a kid again. And caramel apple is my preferred fall flavor, because pumpkin is gross. So basically, these Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cream Pies were made for people like me.

These smell just like a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal. The oatmeal cookie itself is soft, chewy and tastes just like the original version. The apple jam is delightfully sweet and tart, and that caramel creme is literally to die for. Little Debbie needs to take note -- make more snacks with this creme, lady! It doesn't seem as sweet as the plain vanilla creme, and is just lightly flavored with caramel. Put all three elements together and you've got an award-winning combination in my book. It's a welcomed fruit twist to the plain Oatmeal Creme Pie and, dare I say, might even be better than the original thing.

My one complaint here is that for some reason, when the apple combined with the oatmeal, it kind of made me think I was eating an oatmeal raisin cookie. I didn't mind, because those are one of my favorite cookies, but if you don't like raisins, like my weirdo husband for instance, you might not care for these.
