Woman On Drugs Crashes Car With Child In Backseat

DETROIT (WWJ) -- A young passenger was hospitalized after a woman driving the vehicle crashed into several other cars Friday evening.

The incident took place on the city's west side near Grand River Ave. and Evergreen. The driver and another passenger may have been under the influence of drugs, police say.

The two-year-old girl was taken to an area hospital. Her condition is currently unknown.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
