Authorities Identify Girl Who Died After Falling Off Paddle Board

MEARS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 10-year-old Lansing girl who drowned after falling off a paddle board in Lake Michigan.

The Oceana County sheriff's department says Hannah Harris was found Monday afternoon near Charles Mears State Park, about a half-hour after she fell off the board.

Attempts to revive her were unsuccessful. Officials say she wasn't wearing a life-jacket. A number of agencies were involved in the search.
